7 weeks with Lucy B.!

I have found these last 7 weeks fascinating with how much you can learn about the complete, helpless stranger who has come into your life, changed your family, depends on you to live, and has made their way into so many hearts in such a small amount if time.  Lucy is my newest best friend who I just met!  Even though she is such a tiny human, with little wats to communicate, it is amazing what I have learned about her.

-she laughs in her sleep
-she really only cries when she needs to burp or poop
-when she is falling asleep, she cries about 4-5 times before she is out for the count
-she enjoys the car and warm baths
-she likes her hand and gets angry with a pacifier...assuming she will find her thumb like M and E (fine by me, one less thing to have to remember to bring with us!)

She is truly an angel sent from above.  I was discouraged that it took so much longer this time for her to be conceived, however, I am now so thankful that it did.  God was taking his time making this baby that would be the most perfect addition to our family.  He made a little girl that is easy to love and easily loves back.  And so now we have our Lucy B.
