Are we mean parents since we were extremely entertained with putting wigs on our kids? Personally, I think they loved it! Ellie was Bob Marley and Molly was a Spice Girl...they fit the roles perfectly!
The wig pictures are followed by some other pictures taken recently:)
Ellie waves at everyone and everything right now...such a friendly little thing!
So I've been trying extra hard lately to get the girls out more and more. Especially since they are now able to do more with being content, such as sit in a shopping cart or a high chair! They seem to really enjoy going places, not to mention the attention they get, as always! Braden doesn't always get to go places with us, but today we took our first family outing to Costco. It's probably funny watching us as its very obvious that we are still relatively new to parenthood but we walk around with more parental pride than this world has to offer. We both love watching the girls get "oo'd and ah'd" at and their flirty reaction to strangers. So here are a few pictures of our recent family outings... Super Bowl with Aunt Jacki and Uncle Jason, out to dinner with Ava, bowling with the fam, and Costco!
Today was the first big storm of the season and we tried to enjoy it as much as possible! Unfortunately, I still had to work, but hopefully some day our "snow days" will be filled with baking cookies, making snowmen, and drinking hot chocolate! To top off the snowy day, our nanny has had the flu all week and was still sick today:( So, Yaya and Bompa hauled down from Aurora in the storm to watch the girls so I could get work done and Braden could go sell wine during the blizzard!:) Needless to say, the day worked out well and Molly and Ellie got to experience the hassle of snow suits, the fascination of snow flakes, and the feeling of a warm bath on a snowy night! Here are some pictures to recap our day...
