29!!!
Entering into my last year in my twenties, I'd say I had fun filled day of celebrating my 29th birthday! I woke up to a scheduled massage at 9:00 am and chocolate chip/banana pancakes to start my day off:) Followed with flowers and a bag full of new clothes! Then an embarrassing delivery of balloons from Jessie:) And more flowers from my dad! Then we went to the Rockies game and had AMAZING seats right behind home base. After the game, we went to Lodo's and had a couple drinks before dinner. We then headed to Larimer square and enjoyed a great dinner at Ocean Prime with a perfect window table to be entertained with great people watching! After dinner we went to the in laws to get the girls and had my favorite Baskin Robbins ice cream cake!!! Overall it was a great day and we got to enjoy some much needed "husband/wife" quality time!
Red Rocks
So since most posts are about the girls, I thought I would share a couple "Red Rocks" concerts that we recently got to go to. I first got to go with my team at work to REO Speedwagon, Styx, and Ted Nugent. It was a great night and we even got surprised with a limo!
A few nights later, Braden and I went with Stephanie and Brent to The Fray. And given we live in Colorado, the first concert of the week was clear skies, decently warm, and dry. A few nights later, the temperature dropped and the rain timed itself just right for the concert. Despite the rain, we still tailgated and enjoyed a great concert...with ponchos and all!

Zoey Eve
We got a new niece today, so here is to introducing:
Zoey Eve Vettraino
7 lbs 14 oz
**She is beautiful and perfect just like her big sister!!!
Glad I've got GIRLS!
This was my first Mother's Day being a mom and it made me so happy that I am the mom of these 2, beautiful girls! I could not be a more proud mom and I don't know what I did to get so lucky! While I love them being so small, this Mother's Day did make me excited for a few years from now when the girls can bring me breakfast in bed, and give me handmade cards from each of them:) I think Braden missed the memo on the importance of this day for a mom, so it will be nice for the girls to take the pressure off his plate!:)
Time Flies!
A year ago yesterday (Mother's Day) I went to the hospital at 33 weeks pregnant and was then put on bed rest for over 3 weeks! They were the longest 3 weeks of my life and I did all I could to keep my babies in me and growing. Once that 3 weeks was over, time has done nothing but fly by! Here are some pictures to help reflect then, and now:)
11 Months
Well, their 11 month birthday was almost a month ago, which just goes to show that as they get older, I have less time! But as always, the older they get, the more fun they get! We are getting a kick out of each of their little personalities, which continue to get stronger every day!
At 11 months, they say dada, occasionally mama, hi, trying to say bye, attempting uh-oh, they wave, clap, dance (as always,) respond to "come here," when you say "good job," they clap with pride, when you say "give me a kiss," Ellie puckers and smacks her lips together and Molly snaps her tongue thinking that's a kiss:) They crawl all over the house and follow us everywhere. Their main target is the stairs, closets, and Jackson's dog food...I found Molly once with about 10 pieces of it in her mouth...YUCK! She seemed to think it was hilarious though! They are both pulling up and walking around the furniture. They fight over toys occasionally but seem to accept the lesson of "sharing."
Molly is such a little tease at this point. She loves to think you're coming to get her and she immediately turns and tries to get away from you. Again...thinking this is hilarious! She loves to cuddle and snuggle herself onto you. On the flip side, her stubbornness remains to get stronger as well! She has been a pain to get to fall asleep and only wants to fall asleep in someone's arms. We've been working on getting her to get herself to sleep, which works, but only if we stand next to her crib until she's asleep. But overall, she's such a goofball and laughs at everything:)
Ellie is still a very easy baby, but is learning traits from her sister quickly to learn how to get her way. She is starting to become more attached to people and doesn't like it when anyone leaves the room. She has a new facial expression which she wears on her face most of the time. He lips are sealed together making a little grin, which makes her look so sweet and innocent:) She is also starting to love to cuddle in the morning and fall back asleep snuggling with me. My favorite is watching her sleep because she looks like an angel:)
