Who said twins are hard!?!?
June has proven that as the girls get older, my time gets spread thinner, and I'm now calculating that I have "negative" hours in a day to get everything done! June has also had some emotional ups and downs. Unfortunately, we lost our Great Aunt Shirley to a massive stroke when coming out of surgery. This was very unexpected, and unfortunately, myself and the girls missed meeting her for our first time by only 3 weeks. We will be going to Ohio for the 4th of July and are now looking forward to seeing Uncle Todd, Uncle Jim, GG Flo and Bernie. We will miss you Aunt Shirley!!!
We did however get to have our 2 nieces and 1 nephew stay the weekend with us. It was nice to have all the cousins together, since Grayson and Matalley are usually consumed with the other older cousins. Unfortunately, Molly suffered from a 103+ fever all weekend, so 1 sick one year old, 2 healthy one year olds, 1 4 yr old, and 1 6 yr old= THINKING before having 5 kids of my own! It was a fun and memorable weekend that we'll always remember!
I'd like to give a special tribute to my dear friend Meagan! She has come to my rescue more times this month than I could ever imagine and hope for! I have been extremely overwhelmed and some things I commit to are impossible to do with my "newly" demanding children:) So, with that being said...THANK YOU "AUNTIE" MEAGAN!!!

Babies turn into Big Girls!
Our babies are 1!!! We knew the time would fly by, but seriously, where did the year go!? This past year has been the most rewarding year of my life. It has been the most challenging year professionally and personally. I never knew such little people could teach a person so many important life lessons. They have taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. They have taught me that a baby's giggle can cure anything. How to be patient when they are learning new things. I have stopped worrying about the little things in life, and now I only worry about them. I have learned to be a morning person. They have taught me how to fight through exhaustion and to do what needs to be done regardless of how dark the circles under my eyes get. I have learned that even at 3 am in the morning, I need to enjoy every moment because it doesn't last for long! And I can honestly say I have done exactly that. Most importantly, I have learned to not care what other people think--people are going to criticize how we raise them, discipline them, dress them, and feed them, however, no one will ever be able to criticize how much we love them!
Happy 1st Birthday Molly and Ellie! We love you more than you will ever know!
**A special Thank You to Gramma for coming to CO to help me get ready for the party, to Yaya and Bompa for helping with the party, to Aunt Krissy and Uncle Andy for providing last minute party necessities, and to "Aunt" Meagan for the photography of the party!
