We got to go sledding this weekend with our cousins Zach and Lucy:) Looks like we are going to get to go sledding A LOT this Winter!!!

Halloween 2009

Visitors Come To COLORADO!

October 8, 2009, I picked Grandma Betty up from the airport at 3:30 pm, we got into the car, and what happened? It started to SNOW! I told her I special ordered it just for her! When we got down to Castle Rock, everything was perfectly "frosted" for an early glimpse of Winter:) I like to think she enjoyed the snow and cold, but I think she would have enjoyed it more had it not been 17 degrees the following 2 days!

Meghan also came to Denver for the American Dietetics Association convention and stayed in a great hotel downtown, so I joined her for a night for a "pretend getaway" vacation:)

Happy 27th Birthday Brady!

For Braden's birthday, I decided to take him to the Glenwood Springs Cavern Adventure Park. We did the Swing Shot, which launches you 1300 feet over the CO River, I think it was scarier than we were expecting! We also did a cave tour of the Glenwood Caverns and Historic Fairy Caves. We did the Canyon Flyer (kind of like an alpine slide) a couple times and the rock wall, which we hated and didn't trust that it was going to catch us if we fell. Overall, we had a great day and definitely a great place for kids, so therefore its a great place for us too! (we got annual passes!)

Lake Havasu--Labor Day 2009

This past weekend I was invited to Lake Havasu with Meagan to stay at her parents "Lake house" and enjoy their boat during Labor Day weekend. It was a great weekend for me to soak up the 105 degree weather and sun as we are 1 month away from possible snow!
