LETS GO ROCKIES!

Molly & Ellie will always be #1 Angels fans, however, their first baseball game was with the CO Rockies:) The fans gave the girls a lecture on how the Rockies are not a very good team but they are always welcome back because they brought good luck...that night the Rockies beat the Astros a lot to a little (we left when it was 9-1!)

So far, the girls have been to Meeker, Steamboat, CA, and to a Rockies game, all before the age of 3 months old:)

Ellie was very into the game!

Yaya and Bompa pretty much spent the whole game holding the girls and getting us food:-/ THANK YOU!:)

3 MONTHS!

I can't believe my babies are already 3 months old! After 3 short months, I honestly can't imagine my life without either one of them. I will also never know what our life would be like with just 1 baby and I am completely OK with that!

Now that we have experienced pregnancy and the first 3 months with newborn twins, we can now put to rest all the negative expectations we were given over the past year. And now that supposedly the hardest part is over (as far as adjusting goes,) I can honestly say that I don't think it was bad at all...I have actually enjoyed all of it! At this point, we are still ready to do it all over again (not quite yet though!) I loved the first day they were born and the first time I got to hold them. I am already looking forward to meeting their future brother or sister someday:)

It amazes me how they have gone from little 5 lb newborns to now doubling their size to happy, smiling babies:) They have a way of making you feel like you are the most amazing person in the whole world. I'm sure this will change someday when they hate us for not letting them date some 16 year old boy, but for now, I will enjoy their unconditional admiration for us and ours for them.

At this point, they love to be held, and know exactly how to get their way with that. They continue to learn to work as a team...if they don't want to go to bed, they now know that 2 cries is louder than 1. (I like to think) I'm starting to have that magic "motherly" touch and can cure them of anything! Over their "3 month" birthday, they both slept 10-11 hours both nights! I ran them to the ground both days and went swimming, went on a long hike (in their Bob stroller,) went to a bridal shower, went to the Ruby Trust release party, and went out to dinner...and that's what equals 2 full nights of sleep!

3 Months:
Ellie: 9 lbs 14 oz
Molly: 10 lbs 8 oz

1st trip to CA!:) ...and not the last!

We had our first trip to CA, which also meant our first flight! I thought the girls did great on the plane...on the way home, they were both knocked out and slept the entire flight!

Friday was a big day...they got to meet their cousin, Ayla, who was sooo excited to finally see Owie (Ellie) and Mowie (Molly!) Needles too say, there were a lot of "firsts" this weekend:)
