Jackson's last weeks as an only child!

He likes to listen to his sisters:) He gets very still when he lays his head on my belly!

Spoiled dog...he's a better cuddle buddy nowadays since my belly just gets in the way!

28 Week Ultrasound!

We had our 28 week ultrasound and dr appt yesterday. So far so good! Baby A is weighing ~2 lbs 5 oz and Baby B is 2 lbs 8 oz. Since our last appt, Baby A has flipped to being head up (not the ideal position for her!) So, unless she flips again by our next appt, we may have a scheduled delivery...possibly June 7! They don't know the chances of her flipping again at this point, since they are getting bigger everyday...but we will see! Either way, we are planning on 2 healthy babies coming out! CO Baby Shower:)

I had our "CO Shower" this past weekend and am sooo thankful for all the wonderful gifts we got! I'm pretty sure we are almost set and ready for the girls to arrive...however, their room may not look like it! It turned out to be a perfect day and I was so lucky to have so many family and friends show up!

We've got a LONG way to go in the next 10 weeks!

Almost 28 Weeks!

26 1/2 Weeks :-)

26 weeks have come and gone,
11 more to go and we’ll be awake at dawn!
The girls are growing and are about 2 pounds,
Their ears are developed and are hearing lots of sounds.
Baby A is head down with her toes in my left rib,
Baby B is sleeping peacefully and ready for her crib.
We’ve taken a couple baby classes to get us nice and ready,
And their dad is taking notes on where to take them for their first pedi!
The most comfortable place for me to be right now is floating in the pool,
Trying to get our last days of relaxation in before cleaning up baby drool!
Jackson is really excited to be a protective big brother,
And Brady and I are ready to be the best father and mother.
The baby advice is getting repetitive and at this point pretty old,
We’re both just ready for our life’s best adventures to unfold!

While Jackson is our only child for only a few more months, I thought I'd post something about him!:) Last week our friend (who we met at the dog park) unexpectedly ended up in the hospital, so I thought I'd give the dogs some play time and they could give each other some much needed attention. So here are some pictures of Jackson and Brody during their "play date" at the house. I have a feeling our "play dates" are going to start looking a little different pretty soon!

"Babymoon"

While we were back home, we decided to take an extra getaway to Palm Springs for a night to have a little "Babymoon." It was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! We got some good swim time in, peaceful meals with no babies, and just some good R&R. We're trying our best to take full advantage of our "no baby" time...but at the same time, we're just so excited for them to get here! We decided 9 months is a very long time of constant anticipation of what's to come!

The babies are ready to swim!

They got enough clothes to last them a LONG time!

24 Weeks!:)

We had our 24 week ultrasound yesterday and got a little glimpse of the 4D ultrasound, which was amazing!

The babies are doing great and growing right on track! Baby A is weighing in at 1 lb 4 oz and Baby B is weighing in at a whopping 1 lb 6 oz :) Which those weights are normal for this time for a single baby, so for them to both be at that point is great! However, at some point within the past 4 weeks, Baby B has made a complete 180 and is now head up...pushing up against my ribs (lovely!) Baby A is still head down, which is good and are hoping she stays that way. Other that that, both of them are still very active and having fun in my belly together!
