OHIO

Lucy and I took a trip to Ohio to meet her Great Grandma Flo.  We had a great time and enjoyed the cold, Fall weather which allowed for some relaxing, "visiting" time inside.  We also took a nice drive around Avon Lake during Lucy's nap and got to see real waves on Lake Erie from the intense wind!  Lucy was also got a crawling lesson from her 88 year old great grandma...not many babies get that!  It was a short, but fun visit and hopefully we will get to go back again soon!

1-9 Months Lucy B.

Sometimes the journey to parenthood takes a little longer than expected.  We had to experience the anticipation, disappointment, and then excitement all over again when it was time for baby #3.  However, once we got to meet Lucy B, the (longer than desired) journey all made sense.  I truly believe perfection takes time, and God was working on the perfect addition to our family.  These past 9 months have been a roller coaster.  Thankfully, Lucy has made this roller coaster of life so much more fun and enjoyable.  Her sweet, happy nature gets her attention wherever we go...possibly just as much as the twins received!  We are so lucky to have another beautiful baby girl inside and out!!

Summer of 2015

One of our Summer highlights was our impromptu road trip Amarillo.  The kids had a blast with perfect "Summer days" playing in the sprinklers, making water slides and water balloons, playing dress up, going to the zoo, and just being kids:)  We are looking forward to our next trip down to Texas!
Sweet sisterly moments which will try to be cherished and always remembered;-)

One of my favorites of our girls!!!
4th of July in Meeker...a successful family photo!
At the end of July, Molly fell on the "glider" at school and broke her arm:( it made for some long Summer days since our daily pool routine was interrupted.  Fingers crossed we won't have to experience that again, at least not in the dead of Summer with 90 degree days!  Molly was a trooper and quickly adjusted to her "red" cast!

We also had Family Camp in Estes Park. It was a great week filled with horse back riding, hiking, craft activities, and a lot of cousin fun in the big cabin!

Lucy and Auntie Lucy!

first day of pre kindergarten!  Ellie was ready to go but Molly, unfortunately had a rough start and had to be peeled off me crying.  I will never miss the heart ache of first day jitters:(  Hoping kindergarten goes a little smoother!

We were also fortunate enough to book a last minute trip to California!  The girls had a blast with their cousins swimming in the pool, going to the beach, and playing at Grammas house.
The Summer ended with what felt like a never ending virus for all the girls.  Lucy got croup, Molly had a 104.1 temp, and Ellie was the lucky one with just a cold.  We made a double trip to the ER one night with Molly and Lucy from 1:30-4:00 am...that was fun!  So when we were going on over a week of sick kiddos and going stir crazy, we decided to get pampered with manicures:)
Two happy cousins!
