Flying Time

I'm not exactly sure where the time is going, but I know it's going fast! My babies are turning into little girls right in front of my eyes. This holiday season has been so much fun to watch them look at Christmas trees in awe, scream when visiting Santa, watch the Parade of Lights with amazement, and open presents with unknown excitement. They are not only growing as individuals, but their relationship with each other is growing stronger every day. I feel at peace when going to work because now, more than ever, I know they are perfectly okay being together. On Friday (12/14) night, Molly went pee on the potty! She has recently become obsessed with sitting on the potty and telling me she has to go poop. She is still way too young for this, but it's fun to watch her excitement and enthusiasm with potty training. Hopefully it will just make the process that much easier! Within the past couple of weeks, Molly started pronouncing "Mollllie" and "Ollie," and enjoys pointing out who everyone is..."mama, dada, Molllie, Ollie, Jacksssi, etc." Ellie has started to catch on to trying to say "Ellie," as where before she would just refer to herself as "Maaa"--Molly. But she is very sweet with Jackson and finds his toys and then runs around yelling "Jackssssi" so she can deliver them back to him:) I will say that Jackson has prepared us quite well for this phase of their life. I feel like I'm constantly cleaning up spilled messes, cleaning up "accidents" when running around without a diaper, and for staying calm when anything does happen so they don't get scared. I am still a firm believer that dogs are truly the best preparation for kids! Here are some pictures from this Holiday season...I'm quite behind on my blog and may start overlapping or going backwards in order to catch up! I'm finding out that a blog is nearly impossible when working full-time, keeping up with the holidays, and having 2 little munchkins who get into everything! My little turkeys

November, December, oh my!

18-19 months:-)

We have had a busy beginning of winter and have fun with holiday festivities. We enjoyed the presidential debates, had Ayla and zoey visit Colorado, celebrated our cousin, Justin's, 13th birthday at lucky strike, enjoyed black Friday, and our most fun experience was visiting Santa!

The girls are becoming closer and closer every day. They love to cuddle with each other and hold hands. When Molly wakes up in the morning or from her nap and Ellie is still sleeping, she will constantly ask for "Ollie" and she will worry until Ellie wakes up.

Ellie has become quite the chatter box, however we'd like to inform you that she is fluent in Mandarin and not English. She speaks very matter of factly and knows exactly what she is telling you. When it comes to Molly, Ellie just walks around yelling "Maaa" referring to Molly. I think she thinks they are both Molly, which I would assume would be pretty confusing being a twin!:-)
