10 Weeks

10 weeks has already flown by and I can't believe they are almost 3 months old! After 10 weeks of being parents to twins, I can say at this point, I "feel" like we have most of it handled (for now!)

--I can get them ready and into the car within 10-15 minutes
--I still don't attempt grocery shopping with them--there is nothing about pushing a double stroller and a shopping cart that looks appealing to me!
--I'm now really good at doing things with 1 hand
--It is now OK if they are both crying at the same time...they will survive!
--Night feedings are started and done within 30 min (sometimes less!)
--I maneuver our double snap n' go stroller like a champ!
--I don't go anywhere without plenty of diapers or formula
--The back of the car has already turned into our favorite changing table
--I've learned to not get dressed for work until after both girls are fed and burped...you never know where you'll find spit up!
--Bath time is routine and both girls LOVE the warm water:)
--They are used to Jackson's giant tongue giving them kisses all day long and are no longer phased by him
--Jackson is now pretty used to them, but getting more protective and doesn't want to leave their side:)
--When I meet other twin moms, they still immediately say "don't worry, it gets easier!" But I think they've been pretty easy "so far." I met a lady with twin 2 yr olds and when she said that, I looked at her like she was crazy! Her 2 yr olds were running all over the place and M & E were just hanging out sleeping in their stroller...honestly, ours looked a lot easier at that moment!:) I'm sure each phase will have its easy parts and harder parts, but I'm just looking forward to all of it. We still just feel very blessed to have been given 2 very healthy babies!

Overall, I think we were given 2 pretty good babies:) In their parents eyes, they are practically perfect in every way!

They were both sleeping and Ellie had her hand just resting on her sisters foot...I thought it was sweet:)

They had a great nap on our bed and I was able to get stuff done while watching them sleep peacefully in our room:)

We got to meet Aunt Jacki and Uncle Jason for lunch for them to meet the girls for the first time:)

ALMOST got both of them smiling!

Molly didn't like the Bumbo as much as Ellie...maybe she will soon!
