When I used to think of "camping," I would picture driving up to a campsite, popping up a tent, using the bathrooms and showers, lighting up a fire, roasting s'mores, and having a tupperware filled with food, drinks, and beer in the car. NOW when I think of camping, I think of an 8 mile hike, no trail, 40 lbs on my back, sopping wet running shoes, mosquitos everywhere, getting water from the springs in the ground, fishing for food, and going to the bathroom while sitting on a log! It was a great experience and one that I will never forget...thank you Uncle Steve and Brady!!!
Jackson came with us and proved himself to be the coolest dog in the world! He was above Dog Heaven and couldn't have been a happier dog. He hopped over/in creeks, chased butterflies, barked at any noise he heard, ate every pine cone he saw, and slept with me in my tent and kept me warm:) He had the whole land to himself to run wild, but when we would stop and say "do you wanna go on a walk??" He would look at us, turn his head to the side, and start jumping around with excitement. Ohhhhh dogs will be dogs!!
